Drakensberg Mountain Retreat offers two accommodation options on the property, namely The Lodge- a catered establishment sleeping 24 guests in nine private en-suite rooms; and The Barn House- a private self-catering holiday home accommodating up to 25 guests in five en-suite rooms, and three dormitory-styled upstairs rooms with shared bathrooms.

We are a pet friendly establishment and boast beautiful conservatory gardens which are individually fenced off for the family pet. Expansive lawns outside also allow animals to run free and explore the natural surroundings. 

We offer three room types: superior rooms beautifully decorated with private sitting areas and magnificent mountain views, standard rooms emphasizing comfort for the more budget conscious and our self-catering option in our private holiday home, only 200m from The Lodge.

Guests are encouraged to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains, the wild horses grazing on the expansive lawns around the property, and the beauty of the surrounding nature, birds and indigenous wildlife.
